The best of the best to play on the go!

Though it may not be the go-to device for gamersI love having the option to play some great games right on my phoneno matter where I am. We received all types of amazing games throughout the yearand here's a look at some of the best ones.

Though it's not easy to narrow down what the best games were due to there being so many great releases throughout the yearwe can better decide based on just how well the game playedhow enjoyable it wasand the overall content provided. These are our favorites:

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis

The Final Fantasy franchise is one of the most popular game franchises everso fans were delighted to see another little add-on to the collection. Even though this is nowhere on the scale of Final Fantasy Online or other gamesthis little pocket RPG delves into the backstory of Sephirothwith retro- and high-definition graphics intertwined. Players can experience solo or co-op battles using some of their favorite characters.

Arena Breakout

Arena Breakout makes the list of best games of 2023 as a unique take on a realistic FPS gamefully playable on mobile. You'll appreciate this game if you're a fan of games like Call of Duty. You can play against and with other online players on several mapsthe goal being to make extractions without being killed. The catch is if you dieyou lose all your gear and weapons and have to restart from scratch. It's a high-stakes game with realistic combatgiving you a real challenge. Plusyou can play it anywhere.

Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai: Star Rail is a must-play mobile game for anime RPG fans. Players can jump into a fantasy in spacechoosing from various classes and completing quests to level up and earn new abilities. The game features excellent anime- graphics and exciting turn-based combatbut what makes it most worth the list is its constant provision of interestingupdated contentwhich never allows there to be a dull moment. Plusthere's cross-progression so you can switch up devices as you please as well.

Limbus Company

Limbus Company is a bit of an underdog for mobile games released this past year. It may not be one of the most well-known titlesbut it proved it has what it takes to be ranked among the best. It is a horror-themed anime RPG that allows you to assemble a team of Sinnerseach equipped with unique abilities that do battle in a mixture of turn-based and real-time action. It proves to be an intriguing storyline with fully voiced characters and an exciting strategy game that will always keep you on your toes.

Monopoly GO

Monopoly is a notorious board game known as a firestarter among families and friends. HoweverMonopoly GOreleased this past yeargave us a newstress-free way to enjoy it. With this chill idle experienceyou can play the classic game with a twistcollecting various stickersraiding other players' townsand building up monopolies at your own pace. Let's be honest; it's very addictive.

Harry Potter Magic Awakened

Harry Potter Magic Awakened was a great game released in the past year that gave us a pocket-sized taste of the wizarding world. Not only could we customize our wizardsbut we could be sorted into a house and enroll in Hogwarts. They nicely balanced out storytelling and quests with a card-game combat where you collect your spells as cards and battle NPC enemies and other players in duels. A magical adventure you can experience on the goit gets our recommendation.

Tower of God: New World

Tower of God was not only a great release for fans of the webtoon but also for anyone who enjoys anime/gatcha-d games. Featuring all the favorite characters from the webtoonyou can experience new stories and utilize those characters with unique abilities to climb the Tower of God. The best part about it was no sweat (i.e. all characters share progressionand it doesn't take hours of grinding to level them up and progressso you can sit back and actually enjoy it).

Warcraft Rumble

Warcraft Rumble brought us a funcasual World of Warcraft experience that you can take with you everywhere. If you enjoy games like Clash of Clansthis World of Warcraft-themed mini-game is probably right up your alley. You can collect notable characters from the Warcraft world and put them to use in PVE and PVP battleswhether you feel like working your way through a full solo campaign or challenging other online players.

Monster Hunter Now gave us another chance to hunt monsters in the real worldonly this timeit's much more intense and creepy. Monster Hunter Now takes immersion to the next levelallowing you to collect weapons and fight monsters you findwhether solo or with other hunters nearby.

Brown Dust 2

Brown Dust 2 is a must-get for those who love narrative-driven JRPGs. This gacha-d experience featured fun turn-based battle sequencesstunning 2D graphicsendless stories to uncovernew story packs constantly addedand much more. If you want a casualrelaxing story game to enjoy in your free timethis is definitely one to try.
