We guide our students with academic and college counselors that build pathways for those aiming for collegetechnical careersimmediate employmentor personal explorations after graduation. We also develop their abilities to protect their mental health through courses and individual counseling. My role is to get students and their families exploring a broad range of training and career options and resources starting in 9th grade and their next steps after Newport.

The youth mental health crisis in America awakened me to take actionnot to cower in fear. Research shows that early intervention and treatment can make a difference for our young people. That’s why I’m on a mission to support and bring the best mental health support for our kids through the Bellevue Schools Foundation. They deserve a chance to thrive and succeed and they need to know they are not alone. See 2023-2024 BSF investments at Newport High School and districtwide.
