Better Jobs Ontario aims to help those laid offnot workingor working a temporary job to rejoin the workforce quicklyproviding approved applicants with skills training for in-demand jobs and financial support. The program focuses on training programs that take 52 weeks or less to completeincluding micro-credential programs. You can apply for up to $28,000 for costsincluding: tuitionbooksinstructional costs (student feessupplieselectronicsetc.)transportationand basic living allowance (up to $500 per week).Additional funding may be available for childcaredisability-related supportsliving away from homeLiteracy and Basic Skills (LBS) and/or language training.

Provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforcewith help from the government. The grant provides direct financial support to eligible employers who wish to purchase training for their employees.
