Disk Management or diskmgmt.msc is one of the oldest tools in Windows. Although Microsoft hasn’t updated it for many many yearsyou can still find it in Windows 11 and Windows 10. Run diskmgmt.msc from Task Manager
In Windows 11you won’t see the compact view. In Task Managerclick or tap “Run new task” in the Processes tab to access the Create new task dialog box.

Disk Management is part of Computer Management
1. Start Disk Management from the WinX menu
The fastest way to open Disk Management is to use the WinX menu. Right-click or press and hold on the Start button andin the menu that openschoose Disk Management.

5. Start Disk Management from Task Manager
