Whenever we’re feeling saucywe like to dig into a slice of local pizza. Seattle’s pizza scene is bubbling with options — and we keep finding ways to top ourselves. If you’re on the quest for the perfect slicewe’ve pie-oneered a list of 25 places to grab pizza that are definitely worth the dough.

Spark Pizza8110 164th Ave. NERedmond
Maybe stay closer to downtown Seattle for a slicebut don’t count out this family-owned spot that earned a mention as one of the top 50 pizza restaurants in the US by a major Italian food blog.

Bar Cotto1546 15th Ave.
You said it yourselves — this Capitol Hill restaurant was voted as the best pizza restaurant in Seattle by our readers as part of our weeks-long bracket competition.

MOTO’s pizzas come Detroit- and feature a lot of PNW-inspired flavors like crab with lemon zest and clam chowder.

It’s maybe best known as the pizza place that you once had to make reservations three months in advance for (yesit’s that good)but MOTO’s now found across the Seattle area from Bellevue to Belltown (where it uses robots to help) to T-Mobile Park.

PagliacciVarious locations
Arguably one of the most prolific chains in the areaPagliacci is now partnering with Zipline to eventually offer deliveries made by drones.

Rocco’s2312 Second Ave.
Look for creative flavors like Banh Mi with pulled pork and cucumberor loaded baked potato with potato (naturally)baconand a ranch base.

Vegan Pi’s “meat toppings” are all seitan-based.

Not to sound cheesy

Razzi’s8523 Greenwood Ave. N. + 1314 Howell St.
“Savor without sacrifice” is the motto for this restaurant’s extensive gluten-free and vegan menu. Enjoy vegan BBQ “chicken” or NW Mex pies — along with countless other appetizer and pasta options.

Pi Vegan Pizzeria5301 Roosevelt Way NE
This spot bills itself as the “oldest vegan pizzeria,” but we’re mostly impressed by combos like the Shroom Truffle Shuffle with mushies and truffle oil and the Green Monster Mac with mac n’ cheeze and bac’n.

Here’s another sweet tip for Sunny Hill — go ahead and get their hot honey as a topping add-on. You won’t regret it.

Detroit squares

My Friend Derek’s3601 Woodland Park Ave. N.
This restaurant can be a little tricky to order from since they’re not open on a regular schedulebut they’re worth the effort. Make your mix from toppings like Mama Lil’s Peppers and “cheap sausage”.

Sunny Hill3127 NW 85th St.
Pro tip: Watch the sun set at Sunset Hill Park and then mosey on over here for a cute pizza dinner with options like the Bunker with sweet corn and shishito peppers.

The Pizza Coop & Ale House13317 NE 175th St.Woodinville
A solid choice if you’re craving those chewy square slices — give the cubano pizza or the Ste Michelle (inspired by the WA wine company) made with a chardonnay butter sauce.

Here’s a longtime favorite for folks looking to dive straight into a pool of chewy delicacies. It may be tempting to get the classic Mama Miabut don’t pass up more adventurous combos like the Brussels sprout made with veggies and candied bacon.

Delfino’s Chicago Style Pizza2631 NE University Village St.
This deep dish spot has been serving pies for almost thirty years. Its large apple pie is also served in the Midwestern format with Granny Smith applescinnamoncaramelbrown sugarand a scoop of vanilla ice cream (should you please).

Johnny Mo’sVarious locations
This restaurant highlights its imported tomatoes and “dollops of homemade sauce” on many of its pizza combinations — we want to curl up under a throw blanket just thinking about it.

West of Chicago Pizza Company3770 SW Alaska St.
Before it was a full-on sit-down restaurantthis favorite was just a take-out window in Delridge. But regardless of how big its operations werewe’ve always been dying to take a little swim in these tiny little lakes of tomato and cheese.

Expect flavors for every palette here with options ranging from classics like pepperoni to the Williamsburg with rosemary potatoesmushroomsand goat cheese.

If it was a snake it would’ve bit you — this spot tucked away in the depths of Pike Place Market offers many of the classics along with options like bacon + red onion and Philly surf and turf.

This local restaurant chain really takes Seattle to heart with options like “The Troll” featuring Italian sausagered bell pepperand spicy coppa.

You may not be able to easily find this restaurant’s menu offerings onlinebut rest assured — it’s worth braving the mystery for with chewy crusts and brightzesty tomato sauce just waiting for you.

Lupo4303 Fremont Ave. N.
A favorite amongst our local craft beer drinkersthis pizza joint uses a tart sourdough crust to round out its robust flavors and deliciously salty cheese.

What began as a food truck has now expanded into a serious Eastside brand with locations in EnumclawMaple Valleyand Bellevue. Alsohot tip — the Maple Valley location is situated directly next to a rivergiving it some distinct PNW vibes.
