DescriptionLoch Ness Monster Surgeon's photograph.jpg
English: Original caption by Wide World Photos: This unretouched photographrushed here from London by radiographshows the famed Loch Ness monster as it was photographed by Dr. Robert Kenneth Wilsonnoted surgeon of the London hospital when it appeared out of the waters of the Loch within 200 yards of where Dr. Wilson was seated with his camera. Scottish biologists' to whom Dr. Wilson's photographs were showndecided the pictures were not those of any marine animal or fish known to inhabit British inland waters and none of the biologists would hazard a guess as to what the animal was. The pictures show a long neck and a small head poised above a bulky body.
