1. Enter the mix formula into the first row ("Target values"). Note that for CSScorn syrup solidsthe value entered is the target concentration of solids required not the % CSS ingredient to be added!!. If you wish to only add a specific % then adjust the solids value in the ingredient table to 100%.
2. Choose the ingredients that shall be used to make the mix. At the beginningthere is a single row for the first ingredient. Use the button "Add ingredient" to add more ingredients. Use "Delete" to remove previously added ingredients.
3. If necessarychange the percentage of constituents (e.g. fatMSNF etc.) in the ingredients.
4. Press "Calculate" to determine the quantities of ingredients required .
5. Note the calculator cannot calculate the impossible! If you use too many sources of MSNF or fat the calculator will not operate and an error message will be given. If you set the MSNF value too high for the MSN used in your ingredients the calculator will generally not work.
