When I attempt to install the Apple Devices app on Win10it never gets past the initial splash screen with message"Retrieving Information from the Microsoft Store...". I don't see any posts about this on MS supportso thought I'd check here.

Solved:
What didn't work was going to the MS Store websitedownloading the Apple Devices app installerthen launching it. Hung every time.
What worked was to launch the MS Store app already in windows apps and 'Get' ing the Apple Devices app directly.
The Apple Devices app seems much smaller and easier than iTunes ever was when you just want to backup. About time.
