Overview
Yelm City Park is the City's first public park and is the centerpiece of Yelm. The park stays busy entertaining families year-round and is host to many community-wide eventsincluding 'Prairie Days,' the 'Annual Jazz Festival,' and 'Christmas in the Park.' The picnic areaslocated at the park are also available for reservation.
The park has received several improvements over the last few yearsincluding the new playground equipmentsplash padYelm Community Centerelectric car charging stationsand a new irrigation system that keeps the field watered and maintained throughout the year.
The splash padlocated in Yelm City Park is the most popular family attraction in the community with multiple water fountains and jetsringsand other features for children to cool off in the summer heat. Picnic tables surround the parkmaking it a great spot to land your picnic basket while the kids play.
