Six weeks after Nancy Guthrie went missingher family has issued a public statement in the News 4 Tucson special “Bring Her Home — The Disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.”

The special aired on SaturdayMarch 21and was shared on the News 4 Tucson YouTube channel.


Guthrie Family Issues Public Statement in News 4 Tucson Special

During the 30-minute segmentthe Guthrie family thanked the community for not giving up their search for Nancy. They urged anyone with information to come forwardwhile reiterating their stance in continuing their search so they can celebrate her lifewhether she is still alive or not.

“We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighborsfriendsand the people of Tucson. We are all family now,” the statement said. “We continue to believe it is Tucsonans and the greater southern Arizona communitythat hold the key to finding resolution in this case. Someone knows something.”

“It’s possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant,” the statement continued. “We hope people search their memoriesespecially around the key timelines of January 31 and the early morning hours of February 1as well as the late evening of January 11.”

“We desperately ask this community for renewed attention to our mom’s case – please consult camera footagejournal notestext messagesobservations or conversations that in retrospect may hold significance,” the statement added. “No detail is too small. It may be the key.”

“We miss our mom with every breath and we cannot be in peace until she is home. We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder. Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home,” the statement continued. “We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous lifebut we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place of rest. Thank you for continuing to pray without ceasing.”

The statement came directly from Savannah Guthrie and her husbandMichael Feldman; Annie Guthrie and her husbandTommaso Cioni; and Camron Guthrie.


Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos Speaks Directly to Nancy Guthrie’s Abductor

The special also included commentary from Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanoswho directed his words to those responsible for Nancy’s abduction on February 1. 

“Just give her up. Let her go. Just let her go. Just take her to a clinica hospital. Drop her off. Just let her go,” Sheriff Nanos told reporter Monica Garciawho asked him what he had to say to the person who took and is holding Nancy.

Additionallythe special shed light on the impact that Nancy’s neighbors and homeowners in the TucsonArizonaarea have had in the search to find her. 

Colleagues of Nancy also recalled their fondest memories with their beloved friendwho was taken from her home in the early morning hours.


Nancy Guthrie Disappearance: Key Evidence & Leads

Since her abductionmedia outlets have stationed themselves outside of Nancy’s home in Catalina Foothills. In doing sothe public has been given 24/7 access to the latest developments in the investigation.

From a team of investigators searching the septic tank on Nancy’s property to impounding her daughter Annie Guthrie’s carfinding DNA separate from Nancy’s in her home and releasing images and videos of the alleged abductor from her surveillance camerathe FBI and local authorities have been working day and night to find the adored 84-year-old.

Although several ransom notes were sent to local news networks in Tucson as well as TMZcoverage of ransom letters has died down since mid-February after TMZ vowed to stop sharing details from the ransom notes they were receiving via email. In which the sender claimed to know who took Nancy from her home. They also alluded to her being held in Mexico with her kidnapper. 

In exchange for critical informationthe ransom writer demanded money in the form of Bitcoin. Howeverwhen TMZ issued a public statement saying that the FBI agreed to give them the $100,000 reward money if they handed over information on Nancy’s locationnothing significant has yet emerged.

Despite loose endsfalse arrests and no motivethe Guthrie family will refuse to give up hope as they continue their search for their momNancy.

  1. I don’t know if law enforcement already done thischeck all the hotels in the area they may be keeping here in a hotel room. I pray that she is alive and in good and I pray for the I don’t want to imagine what this family going through 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
    I sincerely hope they find who is responsible for to bring them to justice but more then that

  2. Do we need a daily update on this woman? There are heinous crimes being committed against children every second and nobody cares about them. Give this story a rest please.
