Advancement to Fellow of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (FPIDS) honors individuals who have demonstrated professional excellence and made significantsustained contributions to the field of pediatric infectious diseases.
Eligible individuals should show a continuing commitment to pediatric infectious diseases through roles such as clinicianresearchermicrobiologistepidemiologistpharmacisteducatornurse practitioneror administrator.
Candidates must demonstrate sustained excellence and leadership and/or scholarship in pediatric infectious diseases or a closely related field. Evidence of peer recognition is essential and may include recognition as a clinicianeducatorinvestigatorpublic health leaderor administrator.
Eligibility Requirements:
*Full membership does not include those years in training for physicians. To be eligibleyou must be out of fellowship training seven years or more and be a member in good standing for the last seven years.
