2026 St. Jude-PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference

The St. Jude-PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference celebrates its 25th year of educationcollaborationand innovation. The milestone meeting will convene March 4-62026 in MemphisTN and virtually.

To kick off this special anniversary yearthere will be a Pre-Conference Career Development Event for Trainees on TuesdayMarch 32026 at the Peabody Memphis. This event includes a career panelguided conversation on special topicsnetworking opportunitiespersonalized discussions and direct engagement with faculty (in-person only).

Registration

In-person or virtual registration is now open. In-person registration will close at 3:00 p.m. CTMondayFebruary 162026. Virtual registration will remain available throughout the conference.

Travel Stipends

Travel stipends of $1,000 USD were offered to accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Training Programs (not individuals) based in the United States or Canada. A maximum of 35 stipends are available on a first comefirst served basis. A limited number of stipends remain available. Apply here.

The official hotel for the 25th Annual St. Jude/PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference will be The Peabody Hotel (map). A room block has been established and can be accessed here. The window to book at the special room rate is SundayFebruary 82026.

Accreditation Statement

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Abstracts

The call for abstracts is now closed. Poster sessions will be presented in-person only. Abstracts deadline was 11:00 p.m. CTSundayNovember 16. Accepted abstracts will be notified the first week of December.

Cases

The call for cases is now closed. All presenting/correspondent authors must submit a signed cover letter and case submission deck. Cases were to be submitted by 11:00 p.m. CTSundayNovember 16. Accepted cases will be notified the first week of December.

meetID Program at St. Jude/PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference

Applications for the PIDS meetID program for premedical/medical students or residents interested in a program that provides a broad overview of pediatric infectious diseases (PID)career exploration in PIDsupport and resources needed to excel in science and medicineand an opportunity to network with other traineesfacultyand PIDS leadership are now closed. The deadline to apply for this competitiveengrossing program was November 7.

Recipients receive complementary conference registration and a stipend to help cover travellodging and/or incidental charges.
