If someonesay.. your mother-in-law or an ex who hates you.. wants to be in your daily lifethey can just add themselves to your Find My app. I enjoy checking on my small family before bed or first thing in the morning or while we are on a trip. It’s nice to be able to click the app and see that everyone is home at night or everyone is almost here for dinner. It’s like having all the chicks in the nest :) except there’s always that extra person who just keeps adding themself to your list. When everyone on the list is in a smaller arealike one town or within an hours driveyou can see fairly easily where they are. ThenEXTRA inserts themself into your group. Maybe they are in California and they want you to know where they arebut now the evening check time brings up a map of the entire United States. I don’t care that they are in California and I don’t need to see where they arebut nowI can’t as easily find out who is on their way to dinner or who is at home for the night. It is possible to remove them- THEY GET NOTIFIED and they promptly rejoin your list with no need for approval. I’m sure this is great for emergency when nobody was expecting to need to know and now everyone has knowledge of your last stop EXCEPT it doesn’t always work anyways

This app let me know where my Mac was. It fell off the top of my car because I forgot I placed it thereI was getting my daughter in the car seat. Didn’t realize until an hour later on the way to my therapist appointment that my laptop was not in the car. I was freaking out $2,000 laptop gone! It led me to where I took my turn down a street at a stop lightit was laying in the grass. The momentum of the car flew the laptop across the intersection. Only had a chip on the corner of the laptop. I was able to track the location down to the area perimeter. The “ring” to the device was no help in that situation -cause of the loud traffic. But the map helped me find it. I was about to just file a police report. But it was spotted near a sidewalk in the grass near the stoplight. I had a case on it at the time and it was inside a laptop sleeve. It was very hot. When I got home it was able to cool down then when I logged in…The app shut down the device and I had to go thru security question and login in from other apple devices I had tied to my account to get access into the computer. Thank you so much Apple for this! Saved my personal information and me from having to dish out more money for a new laptop. I had no insurance on it ..as it was a pay to own device from a third party seller.

I recommend this app even if you think it’s an app which takes storage or even might not be needed I think someday it will go to use for you not many but I really want to consider how thankful this app change the fact someone stole 3 Air Pods and money from a locker in my school. My air pod pros were connected to this app and it helped save my life it showed me the direction the distance and the address of who stole my air pod pros. The fact that it manage to track the place where it was taken and letting me disable them which allowed my air pod pros to not connect to their Bluetooth and device made a big difference and help for me. The information on this app allowed me to ask people around if they knew this place and I found someone who knew who lived there I won’t go into details but the help of the school and cops I manage to get a name and as suspicions goes on and the details the app gave me the place it showed me and how long ago my air pod pros were connected to this app made me feel relief and knowing that getting these type of information can make things the best case because in the end I got my air pod pros and I manage to help some other people out because theirs were stolen.

So when I first got my phone it was always installed but when I wanted to check my friends family and loved ones locations I can ask people to ring my device or any of my devices if I can’t find it find my is a really good app don’t look at all of this bad comments because their all haters because the app is so good and better than theirs if they tried to make a app so just listen to all of the good comments on this wrote one of the app and download it if you deleted it because of all of the bad comments because they were only lying and they are haters of the app so just listen to all of the good comments . I’m not telling you what to do I’m just suggesting you the right way and if you’re one of the haters who wrote some of the bad comments just delete it because you’re being selfish and cruel mean . I’m not trying to mean to all of the haters out there on this app . I’m just trying to help because if you keep doing that no one is going to like you . So just download the app and check it out and rate it how you want to rate it but don’t be on of those people who are jealous of the app and put bad comments so people don’t want to download the app so just go check it out.
