Missed late field goal dooms Ohio State in Big Ten title game loss to Indiana

The Ohio State Buckeyes came up short against the Indiana Hoosiers in the Big Ten Championship game on Saturday.

Jayden Fielding missed a 27-yard field goal with 2:51 left as the Hoosiers won13-10.
Ohio State led10-6at halftime.
The Buckeyes fall to 12-1 overall.

OSU took a 7-3 lead after Julian Sayin threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Carnell Tate with 53 seconds left in the first quarter.
Fielding’s 30-yard field goal in the second quarter extended it 10-3. Nicholas Radicic buried a 32-yard field goal for Indiana to cut Ohio State’s lead to 10-6 at halftime.
The Hoosiers took a 13-10 lead when Fernando Mendoza threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Sarratt.
The Buckeyes drove inside IU’s 10-yard line late in the third quarterbut Sayin was stopped on a quarterback sneak late in the third quarter.
This is Indiana’s first Big Ten football championship since 1967.
