A Classroom Cleanout is an easyimpactful way for schools to give unused supplies a second life. At the end of the school yearSchoolhouse Supplies partners with local schools to collect newsurplusand gently used classroom materials—such as schoolofficeand art supplies—that might otherwise be discarded.

These donated items are then sorted and distributed through our Free Store for Teachers. By participating in a Classroom Cleanoutschools help reduce wastekeep usable supplies out of landfillsand directly support students and teachers across our community.

Here’s how different groups often make it work:

Students

Student-led cleanouts are a great way to build leadership and community while making a real impact. Students can help collect supplies from classroomsorganize donation stationssort itemsand assist with packing. This can be part of a service-learning projectclub activityleadership programor end-of-year initiative—giving students hands-on experience in teamwork and community care.

Teachers
