Following Potential 2026 Draftees

To be fair the "expert" they bring in suggests that they could possibly get an extra first round pick for their troublewhich is not out of line. If the Jazz know who they wanteven if it is NOT AJI would still pay next year's remaining pick to get exactly who I want without any surprises.

It would be hilarious if Washington trades down because they value Peterson more and we move up and select Peterson.

I'm curious to know just how much AJ has been around the jazz and what the connections are like.
I'm sure Ryan and Ainge have had a number of conversations with him and seen him play a ton and know his family and stuff.
But I wonder if AJ has talked with any of the jazz players much. I wonder if they have hung out together in a non basketball setting.
Does AJ have a relationship with keyonte for example? Have they hooped together and developed any chemistry already? I have no idea about any of this but I'm very curious.
Keyonte and AJ have been spotted chatting up from time to time.

I'm excited to actually have a 2nd player on the court (other than Key) that can create his own shot frequently. Ace does sometimes but his handle limits him currently. I love Lauri and JJJbut they need help creating.

"Creating your own shot" (which usually means a ton of ball pounding and then throwing up a difficultcontested jumper/floater) is a good skill to have in some specific situations – IF it ends in a basket. Way too often it doesn't. Most NBA players can "create a shot" if asked tobut it's very hard to create a good shot all by yourself against league defensesparticularly in the playoffs.

The Sixers have many guys who love trying to create their own shotsand against the Knicks they kept taking turns doing that. They got swept.

Efficient volume scoring is the holy grailand it can take many forms.
