Setting Up A Fleet[]
To start a Fleetcomplete the Becoming a Fleet Commander quest given by Edward Kenton at level 150. This will unlock the Fleet UI in the Ship menu.
To add a ship to the fleetit must first be sunk before a prompt appears to add the ship to the fleet for drachma. The cost scales with ship type and equipment (higher durability and better cannons will cost more). Each ship type has a certain amount of followers required to be added. The prompt will not appear if there are not sufficient inactive followers.
Certain ships require Fleet Captainsyou can appoint this captain by talking to one of your deckhands with Dedicated loyalty. Fleet Captains will randomly spawn on islands in the Bronze and Nimbus Seasmessaging you their location. When interacted withyou can change certain aspects of your fleet. Fleet Captains can be recovered by dismissing them while a deckhand slot on your personal ship is free. If all deckhand slots are fullthe Fleet Captain will instead be permanently lost.

Fleet Level determines what research you can acquire and what tasks you can assign to your fleet. Fleet Level is determined by adding up the amount of times you've leveled up each task. For exampleif you have level 3 exploring and level 2 harvestingyour fleet will be at level 4because you've upgraded exploring twice and harvesting once. At Fleet Level 5you unlock the conquest taskwhich allows your fleet to passively obtain dark sealed chests.
Fleet Power is a passively increased stat that increases the durability of all of the ships in the fleet (Player ship is unaffected). It increases durability at a rate of +10% for each levelmaxing out at level 8 with 70% extra durability.
StrengthFoodand Supplies are resources of your fleet that passively decrease as your fleet does different tasks. Having a low amount of any of these stats increases the likelihood of desertations within your fleet.
Strength - Tasks require a minimum amount of strength to be completed. Can be recovered using the Recover task.
Food - Having a low amount of food increases desertations. Can be recovered using the Plunder task.
Supplies - Allows your fleet ships to repair themselves. Can be recovered using the Plunder task.
