Magics Spells

Spells are the utilization of Magic. Six base spells can be unlocked by allocating Stat Points to Magicwhile more advanced spells can only be learned by the use of a Spell Scroll. Players obtain a left mouse button (M1) attack and Blast spell upon talking to Morden at Dawn Island.

Customization

All Spells can be customized to suit the playerwith some specific Spells providing unique customization options. All spells often share the same few optionssuch as it's namesizeand or amount. Certain Magics have unique name options based on their formas can Spells. Below are commonly

Name

edit

Purely cosmetic option. Requires 1 of the available (AdjectiveSynonymName) presets to be chosen. Howeveryou can name all of your spells the exact same.

Amount

edit

Modifies the amount of the spell's action. Starting at 1attacks go up to 20Leaps go up to 5.

Casting Style

edit

Cosmetic option unlocked 10 points over the initial spell requirement. Certain animations (Leg Across and Leg Impact) hide the magic circle until the ability finishes its startup.

Ultimate Arts

Every spell also has the option to be turned into an Ultimate Art. Ultimate Arts are a powered up version of the spell which increase the damage and size of the spell at the cost of more energy and a longer cooldown. They're unlocked 200 stat points after the initial unlock leveland you can only have 1 Ultimate Art per Magic. As a bonusUltimate Arts have a reduced damage threshold for inflicting Status Effects on your target.

Base Spells

Base Spells are the default abilities that all Magics have.

Attack (M1)

Made available after talking to Morden at Dawn Island. Casts basic projectiles with short range similar to Blast.

Blast

edit

Unlocked alongside Attack. A basic projectile that explodes on impact.

Explosion

edit

Unlocked at 30 Magic. A large explosion that deals AoE (Area of Effect) damage.

Leap

edit

Unlocked at 60 Magic. A vertical boost.

Beam

edit

Unlocked at 90 Magic. A near instant traveling beam of magic.

Snare

edit

Unlocked at 120 Magic. An AoE-based grab that barrages and knocks the target away for damage.

Aura

edit

Unlocked at 150 Magic. Empowers a chosen attribute of the magic.

Rare Spells

edit

Rare Spells are found on Scrollswhich contain a special spell that is typically more complex than the base spells.

Pulsar

edit

Learned with 240 Magic. Fire a slow moving projectile that explodes on customizable intervals.

Javelin

edit

Learned with 150 Magic. Throws a javelin that sticks to targets and explodes each second for a custom amount.

Array

edit

Learned with 220 Magic. Summon projectiles that follow behind you for a set period of time before automatically firing at the nearest target.

Surge

edit

Learned with 240 Magic. Unleash a constant cone-shaped stream of your magic that drops off in damage.

Cannon

edit

Learned with 80 Magic. Fires a faster piercing projectile that explodes per each impact.

Barrage

edit

Upcoming Full Release Spell. Fires a massive amount of large projectiles with moderate inaccuracy.

Nebula

edit

Upcoming Full Release Spell. Similar to World of Magic's Bursting AuraCreates a pulsating aura around you that damages and knocks away targets.

Hasta

Upcoming Full Release Spell. Similar to the Lost Technique BlitzYour character jumps up and crashes down with a spearexploding and dealing damage.

Barrier

Learned with 180 magic. Creates a barrier that does damage and protects against attacks.

Slash

edit

Learned with 180 magic. Causes a slash attack to spear in front of the userexplodes afterwords.

Quake

edit

Learned with 120 magic. Release magic energy into the ground causing a huge area to be effected.

Path

edit

Learned with 240 magic. Uses magic to create a solid path in the air.

Learned with 340 magic. Hold to shoot a continuous beam of magic.

Construct

edit

Learned with 240 magic. Create a structure using magicchanges the type construct when you charge the spell.

Meteor

edit

Learned with 240 magic. Create a magic circle to drop a large amount of your magic on.

Flight

edit

Learned with 300 magic. Spend time focusing to fly quicklyif focus is disrupted then spell ends.

Lost Spells

Lost Spells are learned with the use of Lost Spell Scrollswhich contain a special spell more complex than the base and rare spells.

Enchantment

edit

Similar to Auraexcept applied to party members.

Annihilation

edit

learned at 280 magic. Leap into the air and form a massive blast it is then thrown and causes a wide damage in a area repeatedly.

Conjure Elemental

edit

Learned at 320 magic. Summons a human shaped elemental that attacks enemies.
