  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    I want to fix the memory dump issue when starting the Roblox Player

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
    The issue is that every time I try to join through Roblox’s website and/or through Roblox Player

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Creator Hub?
    I’ve tried:
    Deleting the Roblox file through %localappdata%
    Uninstalling and re-installing Roblox
    Restarting my computer

If I remember correctly this is one of the more worse errors you can get.

You can try to update all your available drivers. Or you can update your computer if it needs one because usually it is because of outdated systems sometimes.

Edit; this can also be because of The anti jet roblox has.

Edit; sorrynot any Jet I meant the built+in anticheat Roblox has.

Getting the same issuecontacted Roblox support and was greeted with an annoying AI Assistant.

I find it funny how both me and the Original Poster (@GrandeLance) have encountered this issue on the same day.

I’ve tried rebooting my PCand reinstalling Roblox from scratchno avail.

Well that’s some encouraging news…

That should of been something I should of triedI guess it slipped my mind. I’ll try that.

Roblox’s own anti-cheat stopping it’s own game from runningI’ve heard it all now.

I’ll try the update drivers and Windows thingand I’ll edit my reply if it worked or not although i doubt it. Thanks.

I’m guessing it could be the anticheat because of the most update. Since if the is didn’t y happen beforethat’d be the most likely thing since it also happened to someone. Else like you said.

Since Roblox recently updated if I am rightit would take more sense.
You could also try to stop processes that Roblox might be blocking? But I’m not sure

Although if none works I would classify this as a roblox bug for certain devices.

Would this memory dump happen to have readable text inside? Maybe you can find a lead to the problem by scrolling through it

I tried to open it through WinWARbut it’s mostly just those weird symbols I forgot what you call them. I’ll try and see if I can open it through Notepad.

Yep Notepad is just having none of itIt just crashed. It has a loteven WinWAR lags when scrolling through itthe only english thing I can see is this.

Sorry for the late replyI just got back home.

I’ve updated them all (I also visited a tech and had them replaced); howeverit’s still doing the same thing. I also tried downloading Bloxstrap to see if it had any issues running with the normal launcherbut still no good results.

Does this mean I have to wait until Roblox fixes their anti-cheat problem?

I did try finding the HYP something fileand it doesn’t come up to the locationso I have no clue whywhereor how this memory dump is happening.

Edit: Nevermind. I found the .tmp file. I was looking at the wrong Temp file :sob:

I’ve heard you can also use VSC (Visual Studio Code) to open up the file; howeverI can’t find the HYP file when going through my Temp file. I will try to give more info when I somehow find it.

I did crack it down with VSCalthough it looks a lot gibberish..
If you want to check Roblox’s memory dumpall I did was to change the “.tmp” at the end of it’s name to “.cs”but it might not be worth itsince you can’t really understand what is going on

It’s probably not worth your time decoding thisas it is a really long file.
I might play Roblox on my Xbox rather than my computer. This is too much for me to fix :sob:

Playing on another device might work. Even though it might not work on your computer (or the device it broke on)try playing on another device. This has been the only solution I got (until I figure out what is really going on)

Honestly I’ve given up at this point. It’s (hoping it is a bug with Roblox’s Anti-cheat) either wait for them to fix itor just straight up quit Robloxbecause I am not buying a new PCwhen I know for a fact it is not my PC’s faultjust saying that alone is outrageous. This error just happened right of the blue for me.
