Highly unlikely any marketing or promotional organisation would consider adopting “Cobblers given the slang phrase “load of cobblers” used to express strong disbeliefcontemptor to dismiss something as utter nonsenserubbishor a lie.

If they want to be The Saints I'd hope someone has spoken to the Rugby team and if they were in agreement

Make the team colours the same and offer reduced price entry for the Rugby clubs ST/Membership holders all season in an attempt to get numbers through the doors.

The Northampton rugby team are known as the Saints so that might have local appeal and has a speedway pedigree.

Problem with that is the car park would be rammed full with Range Rovers and Jagsand most of them would leave after heat 11 if Northampton are losing. They'd also have to provide prawn sarnies and prosecco. Bit of a sifferent demographicmethinks!

I'm hearing that other clubs will be offering a special offer with their season ticket deal. For an additional payment (actual amount to be set by each club individually)it will include entry to all Northampton 2026 home meetings - except playoff matches - thus creating doubling-up amongst supporters in order to create the impression that Northampton has a supporters base. I'm sure that as an ideait will catch on
