The political storm in Rivers State may be easing following a late-night intervention by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential VillaAbuja.

According to The Nation on Mondaythe President reportedly held talks with Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom WikeRivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubaraand other key leaders from the state. While the details of the meeting remain under wrapsThe Nation reports that Governor Fubara accompanied Wike to his residence in GuzapeAbujaafter the discussions.
