Kean Jersey City is Coming!

Big News! Bigger opportunities! Kean is coming to Jersey City.  

Under a merger agreement between New Jersey City University (NJCU) and Kean Universityeffective July 12026students accepted to NJCU will officially become Kean studentspending state and regulatory approval.  

The Jersey City campus will operate as Kean Jersey Cityan additional location of Kean—a proudnational research university. 

Students in Jersey City will experience a seamless transition to becoming Kean studentswith additional academic advisement and support servicesas well as clubsactivitiesand events right here on the Jersey City campus. 

This is more than a merger. It’s a transformation built for you. Join us.
