Not able to request Form16B on traces

Form 16B will be available for download from the website of Centralized Processing Cell of TDS (CPC-TDS) www.tdscpc.gov.in

Please check once again. You can easy find an article on web that how to download form 16B.

If you filedyou can download in trace. Use login credentials. Duly filled challan details. You can generate Form 16B. 

Only buyer can download Form 16B by following the steps below:

1. The taxpayers need to log into TRACES.

2. Post loginthe user needs to go to the Downloads tab.

3. Form 16B will be available in that tab.

4. Enter the details that need to be filled in (such as the seller’s PANassessment yearthe acknowledgement number of form 26QBetc.)and click on Go

5. Once all these steps are completeyou will be able to download Form 16B

I am a buyer and have followed the procedures provided above.

when i request using traces websitei get below. My for 26B is correct with right values dfor buys and sellers and i am providing all details to request form16b using my already filed form26QB 

Dear FriendsThanks for the response. my issue is resolved. this was my first time and feels like govt. website takes 3-4 days to process your FORM26QB.

7th Feb - Filed my 26QB.

8th Feb till 11th Feb - logged into traces and tried to request form 16b. Failed to do so due to above error. What i observed is the challan status was showing unclaimed. You can check Challan status on Traces website. 

11th Feb Evening - logged into traces and checked the challan status. It showed consumed. With that i was able to raise request for form16b without any error. 

It feels like it takes 3-4 days for us to request form16b. as long as you see challan status on tracesi believe it should be okay and just follow-up. every day.

First login to tracescheck for statement statusif it processedit will allow u to request for form 16B.

and if the challan is unclaimedno issue request for correction and add deductees and submit.

HiI have created a request for download form 16b. It showed the status submitted at that time.

But when I checked after 2-3 hoursthe status turned to failed. What could be the reasonplease help.

Challan status is partially consumed.

I have created another request and it got downloaded. No issue now. Thanks
