Reflecting on my experience with PolicyBazaarI encountered a series of issues that raised concerns about their reliability. InitiallyI engaged with their website to explore term insurance optionsbut the persistent follow-up calls from an agent convinced me to proceed with a purchase.
The agent assured me that by adding my wifewe could have a joint policy covering both of us (LIE 1). Additionallyhe recommended a riderassuring it would apply to both of us (LIE 2). Trusting his wordsI moved forward (MORON).
After completing medical testsI received a policy only for my wifewithout the rider and not in the plan I had requested. On top of thatmy policy was declined by ICICI without any explanation. HA HA
Despite numerous attempts to contact the agent and his managerwho were previously quite persistentI was met with silencelike when you message your crush and they just see and ignore.
This experience is troubling as term insurance deals with matters of life and death. The lack of communication and accountability from PolicyBazaarespecially in a critical situationis disappointing. My advice/request to fellow dimers is to consider purchasing policies directly from reputable banksit may cost you little more but avoid the complexities of dealing with intermediaries who will only focus on their sales target.
just cancel the policy if it's still under free look period
