On SolitaireClassic.orgall cards must be placed on the Foundation piles at the top of the playing field.
The Setup and Play Area
Solitaire Classic uses a standard 52-card decki.e. a standard deck.
The cards are laid out in the centre of the table in 7 columns. The first column contains 1 cardand each subsequent column contains one more element. Thusthere is 1 card in the first column and 7 in the last. The top card in each column is face upwhile the remaining cards are face down.
There are 28 cards in the active area of the gameand the remaining 24 cards are in the Stockpile. These elements are the reserve and are turned face down. There is also a waste pile where cards drawn from the stock are placed.
There are 4 foundation piles at the top of the playing field. These rectangular slots are used to place sequences of cards of the same suit in ascending orderi.e. from Ace to King.
How to play
The top cards in the columns on the playing field are active. Look for aces and deuces and start building sequences. If these cards are not placed firstyou should move the cards on the board to unlock access to them. Remove the revealed cards to flip the next elements in the column.
You can move one card at a time or move a whole sequence of face-up cards. To move this group of cardsyou should focus on the card at the base of the chain.
Keep the sequence
It's important to move cards between columns only to a card of the next higher rank. According to the hierarchya queen can be transferred to a kinga ten to a jackand so on. In addition to the rankyou should pay attention to the suitor rather the colour of the suit. A player can move cards between the columns on the playing field only by observing the sequence of coloursi.e. red - black.
Try to free up stacks that can be occupied by a king or a sequence of cards with a king at the base.
Stock pile
When you run out of available moves on the boardopen the stock pile cards. Click on the deck and use the card that appears. You can move it to the active board in the centre or use it to make up the foundation piles at the top of the screen.
There is no limit to how many times you can go through the Stockpile.
