2010Award winning actress and producer Nicole Kidman has won over the hearts of audiences across the world for her daring and captivating work across the big and small screen.
In 2003Kidman won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in THE HOURSfor which she also won a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award. She has also been nominated for an Academy Award for her performances in MOULIN ROUGERABBIT HOLELIONand BEING THE RICARDOS.
Her other notable films include DEAD CALMTO DIE FORPRACTICAL MAGICEYES WIDE SHUTTHE OTHERSDOGVILLEBIRTHTHE PAPERBOYKILLING OF A SACRED DEERTHE BEGUILEDDESTROYERBOY ERASEDAQUAMANTHE NORTHMANBEING THE RICARDOS and A FAMILY AFFAIR. Most recentlyKidman was seen in BABYGIRLfor which she won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival and was named Best Actress by the National Board of Review.
Kidman has also had success in television. Most notably she starred in and co-executive produced the limited series BIG LITTLE LIESfor which she received EmmyGolden GlobeCritics Choice and SAG awards. Her other television credits include HEMINGWAY AND GELHORNTHE UNDOINGNINE PERFECT STRANGERSROAREXPATSLIONESS and THE PERFECT COUPLE.
Kidman was awarded Australia’s highest honor in 2006 and serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women. She and her husband support the Women’s Cancer Program at Stanford and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. In 2017the Cannes Film Festival honored Kidman with a special award for her body of work. In 2024she became the first Australian to receive the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
