Overview
The BQ27Z746-DEVICE-FW is a firmware (FW)-only release that can be flashed onto any existing hardware such as BQ27Z746 product. The firmware incorporates the patented Impedance Track™ technology to create a pack-based solution that provides a rich array of features for gas gaugingprotectiondifferential battery sensing analog outputand authentication for 1-series cell li-ion and li-polymer battery packs.
Using its integrated high-performance analog peripheralsthe BQ27Z746-DEVICE-FW firmware enables the device and measures and maintains an accurate record of available capacityvoltagecurrenttemperatureand other critical parameters in li-ion or li-polymer batteriesand reports this information to the system host controller. The integrated protection provide safety protection against Over Voltage (OVP)Under Voltage (UVP)Over Current in Charge/Discharge (OCC/OCD)Short Circuit Discharge (SCD)and Battery Sensing Protections (BCPBCNBDP and BDN).

Description
The R1B version of BQ28Z610-DEVICE-FW is a firmware (FW) upgrade for the BQ78Z100 hardware. It is identical to BQ28Z610-R1. Programming the R1B firmware on BQ78Z100 hardware will effectively convert the BQ78Z100 to a BQ28Z610-R1(Rev. A). BQ28Z610-R1 is a highly integratedaccurate1-series to 2-series cell gas gauge with protection solutionproviding autonomous charger control and cell balancing. This firmware is compatible with bq28z610-R1 hardware. Note: This firmware is not compatible with bq28z610 hardware.

Overview
BQ34Z100-DEVICE-FW is a firmware-only release that can be flashed onto any existing BQ34Z100 hardware ( such as the BQ34Z100BQ34Z100-R1BQ34Z100-R2… device ). The firmware incorporates the patented Impedance Track™ technology to create a pack-based solution for Li-ionPbANiMHand NiCd batteriesand works independently of battery series-cell configurations. Batteries from 3 V to 16.7 KV can be easily supported through an external voltage translation circuit that is controlled automatically to reduce system power consumption.
The BQ34Z100-DEVICE-FW device provides several interface optionsincluding an I2C peripheralan HDQ peripheralone or four direct LEDsand an ALERT output pin. Additionallythe BQ34Z100-DEVICE-FW provides support for an external port expander for more than four LEDs.

Overview
BQ78350 family of gauges firmware is a firmware-only release that can be flashed onto any existing BQ78350 hardware (such as the BQ78350BQ78350-R1BQ78350-R2… devices). The firmware incorporates the CEDV Li-ion and LiFePO4 battery management controller to create a pack-based solution that provides a rich array of features for gas gaugingprotectionauthenticationand monitoring using the companion BQ769x0 family of analog front end (AFE) protection devices for upto 15-series cell Li-ion and Li-polymer battery packs.
The BQ78350-R1A device offers optional LED or LCD display configurations for capacity reporting. It also makes data available over its SMBus 1.1 interface. Battery history and diagnostic data is also kept within the device in non-volatile memory and is available over the same interface.

Overview
Several TI Fuel Gauge products support authentication for anti-counterfeit protection of battery packs. The selection of the battery authentication scheme between SHA and ECC is left to the user to decide. bqKeyPackager is provided to package the keyand bqKeyProgrammer is provided to program the key onto the selected gauge. The purpose of these two standalone tools is to allow an OEM to encrypt authentication keys in a file and send to a packmaker. The packmaker can then use this file as the data source for bqKeyProgrammer to program the key(s) into a gauge. The key will not be visible to the packmaker.

Description:
BQ-BATTERY-PROGRAMMER-SW software development kit (SDK) is a collection of robust software command line tools that assist with the process of programmingtestingor assembling packs that use TI Battery management products. The executables in this software work with the MKST-3P-ALT-EV2300 MKS Technology alternative for EV2300 communications transceiver. The executables work with a single station but can be extended to multiple stations by using additional software and GUI from MKS Technology Inc. . Support for multiple stations is not included in this software.
There are multiple executables in the downloadusually one per family of products. Older products such as BQ20xxx and BQ30xxx are also supported. Examples using the C++ programming language API and Python® programming language are provided for custom development.

bqProduction Hi-cell software offers a full suite of robust tools to assist with the process of configuringcalibratingmanufacturing and tracking printed circuit boards utilizing TI Battery management products. This includes features that allow writing a golden image followed by different types of calibration to provide desired levels of accuracywriting date of manufacturewriting unique serial numbersand finally validating limits for calibration parameters to spike out any inconsistencies in material. bqProduction Hi-cell software offers three (3) levels of access to allow strict control over the manufacturing process with the assembly line operator only having access to the "Start" button. bqProduction Hi-cell software supports a single station from a single computer and has inbuilt capability to maintain log files for the processed printed circuit boards.

Mode of operation dependent: Requires 1mV1mA accurate external power supplies able to supply current required for calibration.
Features
MKST-3P-ALT-EV2300 is used as a substitute for EV2300. Separate installers may be provided for each family of products and build numbers may vary by device family.
Limitations: Recommended display resolution is 1920x1080 with maximum 125% scaling. The GUI may not show password fields and/or buttons may be moved out of the visible area when using other display settings.
