  1. Ever heard of the song“Anything”? Mentioned on page 247 of the Lewisohn book Complete Chronicleit was a 22min10sec composition by Ringo of drum beat with tambourine and congas. Never mixed.

    (On my birthday)

  2. “Falling In Love Again” from the Star-Club tapes should be included because Paul McCartney wrote the English lyrics that he sings on that recording.

It was originally in German and sung by Marlene Dietrich.

  3. Hello Joewe were in contact about 10 years ago. I have another question: On Youtube there are some Video Tracks of the titles > “I`ll keep you satisfied” and “From a window” which they both gave to Billy J Kramer . I am not quite sure which ones are really original. Can you help me ? That would be fine. I have not found those tracks on any CDs or so.
    Thanks in advance anyway.
    Ralf

    1. There was an LP called ‘The Songs Lennon & McCartney Gave Away”I recorded it on a tape I still havethe two songs you mention were on it. By Billy J kramerthere were many songs whose Beatles demos are impossible to findlike “A World Without Love” and “Woman” that were given to Peter (Asher) & Gordon. You can easily find John’s demo of “Bad To Me”also given to Billy J Kramer“Hello Little Girl”“Love Of The Loved” “Like Dreamers Do” are on the Decca tapes. On the Beatles sessions album there was also Paul’s “Goodbye” for Mary Hopkin.

    1. Could you be thinking “Sealed With A Kiss” by Brian Hyland ? “It gonna be a longlonely summer”. Everyone who played the Starklub in 1962 had to learn that song. The “Stairway to heaven” of its day.

      1. That song is permanently stuck in my head. I used to sing it to my small children so I could kiss their faces all oversealing it with a kiss. Big nostalgia from my youth.

  4. Happy just to Dance with You
    We Can Work It Out
    Hard Day’s Night

Looks like a list of Beatles songs a very happy 77 year old man would remember firstbut so be it. Happy New Yeareverybody!

    1. Yeswell in fact the song wasn’t finishedit was still going thru some iterations. But thenwouldn’t you knowRingo broke up with her in the middle of Mayand they completely lost their momentum. … And let’s just say it got quite messy trying to rewrite the lyrics! Nothing in the story worked so they temporarily shelved it; and finally just canned it altogether!

  8. Just recalled one not listed. In approximately 1964members of the Beatles Fan Club received a 45 size bendable record of “Good King Wenceslas”. Wish I still had it. Remarkable list!
