Unable to log in to WhatsApp on PC after iPhone restore

WhatsApp does not have a direct login process for PCMacWebor iPad devices using a phone number or password. Insteadthese devices can only be linked to an existing WhatsApp account on a smartphone. Devices without a phone number directly associated with WhatsApp cannot independently log in or create an account.

When attempting to use WhatsApp on these secondary devicesa QR code will be displayed. To link the deviceyou need to scan this QR code using the WhatsApp app on your smartphonewhere your account is already active.

Sounds like an issue for WhatsApp Support.

I don't know what limits on concurrent access they mayor may nothave imposed on their servicebut this seems likely to be something that is their doing (one way or another).
