Overseen by the Association of Zoos and Aquariumsthe focus of the SSP is to maintain a healthy and self-sustaining captive population that is both genetically diverse and demographically stable.
The species belonging to the SSP are selected based on the belief of captive breeding programs being their only chance for survival. We are honored to be a part of the solution.
