阿拉伯国家一般指以阿拉伯民族为主的国家，主要分布在西亚。它们有统一的语言——阿拉伯语，统一的文化和风俗习惯，绝大部分人信奉伊斯兰教（国教），阿拉伯国家均为伊斯兰会议组织成员国。有些国家虽非以阿拉伯民族为主体，但长期以来与阿拉伯国家建立了紧密的政治、经济、文化、宗教联系，并加入了阿拉伯国家联盟，因此也被称为阿拉伯国家。 阿拉伯国家和地区共有22个，总面积约1400多万平方千米，人口总数约3.39亿。
