ATM stands for Automated Teller Machine. Simply insert your debit card and input your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to withdraw cashmake deposits and check your account balance.

What does it mean to add cash in store with Capital One?
You can conveniently add cash to your eligible Capital One checking or savings accounts at any participating store with the Capital One Mobile app.
Where can I add cash in store?
You can add cash in store at any WalgreensDuane Reade by WalgreensCVS®Kroger® Family of Stores or 7-Eleven® store in the U.S. It’s not available at CVS Pharmacy® locations inside Target stores. You can use the Capital One Mobile app to add cash to your eligible checking or savings accounts. Find a store near you.
Do I need to bring an ID to add cash in store?
Yesbring your ID. Some stores may ask for your photo ID to verify your transaction if you’re adding a large amount.
The following IDs are accepted:
- U.S. State-issued Driver's License or Learner's Permit (including GuamPuerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
- State Issued Non-Driver ID
- U.S. Military ID (includes Common Access Card issued by the Department of Defense)
- U.S. Passport (book or card)
Kids without IDs should bring a parent or legal guardian with them to add cash. The adult on the account can show their ID instead to verify the transaction.

You can add cash in store with any of your eligible Capital One checking or savings accountsincluding:

How do I add cash in store?
- Visit a local Walgreens or CVS. FYI: Bring your ID—the cashier may ask for it.
- In your Capital One Mobile appchoose which eligible account you'd like to add cash to and enter the amount. For each accountadd up to $1,500 a day and $5,000 per month. You can add cash up to 10 times a month.
- Generate your barcode. For your securityeach barcode can only be used onceand it’ll expire after 30 minutes.
- Tell the store’s cashier you'd like to add cash to your Capital One accountand then show them the barcode. The cashier may ask for your photo ID too.
- Give your cash to the cashierand they'll give you a receipt. Keep your receipt until the money’s in your account.
