I searched a bit but never got a complete answer. I picked up a pretty clean 89 runner a few months backjust a camping or mild trail type rig. I was gonna purchase a lockrightaussie or simple locker to drop in it and thats when I saw the code on the door jam.
I was under the impression that V6 diffs were all 4 pinionso a G292 code is not what I expected. Is this a typo or is there actually a 2 pinion V6 third in existence on the early 3.0's?
