My name is Thomas AunayI have an engineering background and I started developing map-related websites in 2010.

Around 2015I was working on a big project and created the current where am I tool as an add-on — something extra on a lower-level page. That page was still a work-in-progress when traffic started building up significantlyto my surprise.

Looking backI believe it must've been due to its core practicalityusefullness and to the accuracy of the APIs which were used. In any caseits success led me to rebuild it as a standalone location website.

I have kept improving the site since then. It has been a challenging journey. With internet constantly evolvingI put a lot of time and efforts into finding the right instruments and securing sustainable relationships with new partners. I feel this is the best version of any where am I tool available out there and I hope you'll appreciate its speed and accuracy.
