Filing Information
The Toledo due date for individual and net profit filers for the 2025 tax year is April 152026.
Penaltiesinterest and additions to tax will begin to accrue on any remaining unpaid balances as of April 152026. Individual and net profit filers who need additional time to file beyond the April 15 deadline can request a filing extension. A Federal extension (Form 4868) gives taxpayers until October 15 to file their 2025 tax return but does not grant an extension of time to pay taxes due. Taxpayers should pay their income tax due by April 152026to avoid late interest and penalties.
Income Tax Rate
In accordance with Toledo Municipal Code 1905.011effective January 12021the city of Toledo income tax rate is two and one-half percent (2.5%).
Individual Payments
Individuals who wish to pay by online can now make these payments through Authority TaxConnect. Authority TaxConnect is available to individual taxpayers and will allow them to create a secure loginreview their tax balances for each year and make payments. A 2.5% fee applies to payments made with credit card. No fees are charged for payment deducted from a checking or savings account.

Business Payments
Payroll services and employers should use the Ohio Business Gateway or ACH Addenda to pay withholding taxes. Please do not use Authority TaxConnect for these types of payments.
