How to Turn on Backlit Keyboard on Lenovo

If you use your Lenovo ThinkPad laptop in dark environmentsyou may want to enable the keyboard light to see your keys. Newer Lenovo devices have a Backlight iconwhich looks like a horizontal bracket with arcing rays on top. This can usually be found on the spacebar of your keyboard. Older ThinkPads usually come with a ThinkLightwhich is located at the top of the display and shines a small light on your keyboard. Things You Should Know

If your Lenovo laptop has a backlightyou'll see the Backlight icon on your spacebar.
To turn on the backlightpress the Function (Fn) key and Backlight shortcut key at the same time.
