The rest assumes people don't know how to contact the hotel; dress themselves appropriately for an event; or readunderstandand respond to invitations.
If there are a few people who don't understand these things and can't figure it out by asking other guestsyou contact them individually as situations arise. "Sorry for the confusionCousin Eddiebut the invite was only for you and your wife. Let us know if you're still able to make it."
Possibly saving yourself the hassle of individual contact with a couple guests (but likely not - the people who don't understand how wedding invitations work are also not going to be the ones reading your detailed FAQ) is not worth insulting the majority of guests who are functioning adults.
Our hotel is very specific on things so at least for the hotel I have to be very detailed. They require everyone book a room by a certain date in order to get the room at the discounted rate. They also have specific days the guests have to pay for their room by and it depends on how the guest is paying. For instanceif paying by check they have to have the check 10 business days in advance. Alsoif paying by credit cardthe hotel provided a form to me that I have to give my guests for them to fill out. Alsoparking is strange. If they are only attending the weddingparking is freebut if they are spending the night it is $5.00.

Not everyone reads the wedding website in detail or at all (or any communication. As someone who sends out school communications periodicallyI should know.) Just because it's there doesn't mean the people who need to hear it will read it.
The hotel and parking info is super helpful though. We listed the hotels we got blocks with on our website and included the deadline to get that rate in that section. If the hotel has any parking chargesit may be nice to include that as well as a heads up.
It's also nice to list any parking or navigational issues with the venue. We did call out on the website that the venue has plenty of onsite parking. I've also seen it done when the venue doesn't pull up correctly on GPSfor example. The couple listed other landmarks to look foror a close address to enter into the GPS and then directions on how to make the final leg to the venue.
As PPs have saidit's rude to call out who isn't invited (like children). Write out your invites to those who are invited (by name). If anyone tries to add another guestfollow up with them individually. We only had one person do thisbut it was my cousin who I didn't realize had adopted his granddaughter and of course we just added her.
