Opinions on if u could use a specific cal. Scope on different cal.the one i am talking about is a Nikon p223 sits on top of a m&p sport i want to put this on a rem.700 30/06

The M223 and P223 are made for .223/5.56 butin all actuality for closer rangesyou could actually make it work I guess.
They are good scopes IMO :thumbsup:

You may get lucky in that the BDC does match up with certain 30-06 loads. Only true way to find out is mount it and hit the range at those distances.
