What is everyone using for back up sights? The MBUS seems popularbut what’s just as good that’s more affordable?

I've used the following over the decades
KAC 300m
KAC 600m
ARMS #40L
Matech
GG&G
Detachable carrying handle.

Over time my preference depends on what I want to it to accomplish. To engage out to 600m with irons either the detachable CHMatech or KAC 600m. Just a backup the ARMS#40LKAC 300m or GG&G in that order.

I have Troy HK on a coupleYHM on 1 Samson that came on the RugerDiamondhead on my AR10and the detachable handle on my Colt. All are good solid metal. As for shootingthe Diamondhead and HK Troys are my favorites since they are seem to line up easier.

Awesome. Thanks guys. I probably should have elaborated on my use of the weapon. I’ve been getting into advanced marksmanship the past couple years. Close quarters stuff. Realistically I don’t think I would engage anything past the 400m mark.

FWIWPeter von Panda convinced me years ago to go for offsetunless the primary optic is on a QD or flop out of the way mount.
Mist/rain obscured his primary once and at the same time obscured the BUISas the view through the optic was shot.
I've used the UTG onesthey're good.

Great concept for a gamers rifle/SD gun. No a good choice on a rifle carried in the field as the sights will snag on seat belts in vehicleequipment etc.
