Do I need to save my receipt?
Your receipt is required to file a claimbut no worries— we can save it for you in case you ever need to file a claim in the future:
- Take a picture of your receipt with your smartphone and text the photo to 202202.
- You will receive a verification text confirming that we have received your receipt.
- You can also save your receipt by creating an account at Walmartprotection.com.
How can I transfer my plan?

- Click on the plan you want to transfer
- Thenclick "Transfer plan" in the Quick Links box to the right
Do I need to register my Walmart Protection Plan?
Noyou do not need to register your plan. Howeveryour receipt is required to file a claim - so registering now can save time if you ever need to file a claim in the future:

During the first 30 days of your protection plan:

Most products come with a manufacturer’s warranty that lasts 90 days to one year from the date of purchase. If there is an issue during this time that is covered by the warrantyyou will be referred to the manufacturer for service.
