早年
黄渤出生在青岛一个知识分子家庭，父母在政府机关工作，是青岛机关单位的处级干部。少年时代的黄渤就迷恋唱歌跳舞，多次参加歌手大赛。
黄渤从初中时开始在歌舞厅演出。1993年，高中时代的黄渤就走进歌厅，成为第一批在歌厅驻唱的歌手，还组了一个叫“蓝色风沙”的组合，在全国各地演出。国民坏叔叔文艺气息十足啊~，唱歌跳舞样样能行~
演戏
2000年，出演管虎执导的电视电影《上车，走吧》，这是他的第一部影视作品，获得2001年度金鸡奖“最佳电视电影奖”，这一次刺激与鼓励，黄渤报考了北京电影学院。
2006年，参演宁浩电影《疯狂的石头》，电影获得包括台湾电影金马奖“最佳原创剧本奖“在内的多个电影大奖，黄渤凭借满口青岛话的“黑皮”而走红。2008年，再次参演宁浩的喜剧电影《疯狂的赛车》。
2009年，参演管虎执导的电影《斗牛》，他展现了“牛二”从不羁到最终妥协，整个无奈的过程转折。夺得第46届台湾电影金马奖和第17届北京大学生电影节“最佳男主角”奖、第1届金榕树大奖最佳演员奖。
黄秋生说：“最过瘾的就是和黄渤演戏。真的演得非常好，他是非常好的演员！两个好的演员在演戏，好像两个好的音乐家玩音乐，那就很过瘾”
还有粉丝这样评价他的演技“《疯狂的石头》，缆车上那一次不经意的甩头，我想忘都忘不掉”，“牌子，班尼路。就这5个字征服了我”粉丝如是说，哈哈，是不是又欢脱又恰当这评价~
