Qualifications
To be eligibleapplicants must be:

• U.S. Citizen.
• Within six months of turning 21 years of agebut not yet 39 years of age. Age exception:
  • Applicants over the age of 39 currently covered under the FERS law enforcement retirement (6c). See 5 U.S. Code 8425(d).
• An applicant's education or experience must include one of the following:
  • Three years of work history; or
  • An Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution (or being within six months of graduation); or
  • Three years of active duty military service; or
  • One year of full-time experience as a sworn police officerincluding military police and similar roles.
