couldn't sync icloud data

Hi,

I am getting this message "Couldn't syn iCloud data To continue using iCloud to sync your end-to-end encrypted datayou'll need to delete current data stored in iCloud."

Is this going to delete all of my passwords and everything? I really do not want to loose this information. Pleasehelp me

I've never set up iCloud yet I appear to have data there. I do not know what data that is. How do I find out? I do not know what data that is. How do I find out?

Hey,

I have called the Apple help line and they said just proceed with deleting the icloud data as it says on the screen. After that all was fineno data was lost and the apps which were not backing up before are now working. Hope this helps

I've been getting thistoosince the OS update (in late September or early October 2024). I went to this article: Change which apps sync and store data with iCloud - Apple Support. I screenshotted the “Some iCloud Data Isn’t Syncing” message on my screen to have in front of me the particular items that weren’t syncing. For meit was passwordshealthand maps. From the articleI turned on/made sure iCloud Syncing was turned on for these apps on my iPhone and my MacBook (my MacBook was getting this error message). Hopefullythat will solve it. I’ll let you know.

Alas. It was no help. I’m still seeing the same “Some iCloud Data Isn’t Syncing” messagewith the same three apps being mentioned.
