Hello Tacadnay,

We'll be happy to share some information about end-to-end encryption and your iPhone with you. This can only be reset when requested through iCloud Data Recovery Service.

For more informationfound in iCloud security overview you'll see the following:

End-to-end encryption provides the highest level of data security. On each of your devicesthe data that you store in iCloud and that's associated with your Apple ID is protected with a key derived from information unique to that devicecombined with your device passcode which only you know. No one elsenot even Applecan access end-to-end encrypted information.

End-to-end encryption requires that you use two-factor authentication for your Apple ID and set a passcode on your device. Some features also require recent softwaregenerally iOS 13 or later. With two-factor authenticationyour account can be accessed only on devices you trustlike your iPhoneiPador Mac. Keeping your software up to date, using two-factor authentication for your Apple IDand protecting your device with a passcode—or password on Mac—Face IDor Touch ID are the most important things that you can do to maintain the security of your devices and data.

We hope this helps explain the end-to-end encryption reset.

You mentioned you are new to iPhonein case you haven't already seen itwe'd like to share the iPhone User Guide with you.

Have a great day!
