Casey Clausen threw for 393 yards and 2 TDs against Michigan.
While Tennessee just missed playing in the Rose Bowlthe Vols' offense put on a national championship level performance in the Citrus Bowl. Casey Clausennicknamed "Iceman," threw for 393 yards and three TDs and ran for two more as the Vols routed Michigan 45-10 to hand the Wolverines their worst bowl loss since 1992.

Tennessee turned the game into a one-sided affair with big plays. Casey Clausen was hot and had the receivers to get the job done. That was the difference. Clausen had Donte Stallworth and Kelley Washington outside and tight end Jason Witten underneath. Travis Stephens was contained in the first half and wasn't a big factorbut the passing game was the reason why Tennessee put up big numbers. And Michigan didn't have the firepower to match the Vols. Michigan's Marquise Walker had five catches for 99 yardsbut he didn't have 10-12 catches like he normally has. Tennessee did a good job overall of playing solid defense.
