Also with these women were Joannathe wife of Chuza (the manager of Herod’s property)Susannaand many other women. These women used their own money to help Jesus and his apostles.
Another of the women was Joannathe wife of Chuza. Chuza had authority over all the people that worked in the house of King Herod. Another of the women was Susanna. There were also many others. These women were using their own money to help Jesus and his disciples.

Not long after this incidentJesus went through every town and village preaching and telling the people the good news of the kingdom of God. He was accompanied by the twelve and some women who had been cured of evil spirits and illnesses—Maryknown as “the woman from Magdala” (who had once been possessed by seven evil spirits) Joanna the wife of ChuzaHerod’s agent Susannaand many others who used to look after his comfort from their own resources.

He continued according to plantraveled to town after townvillage after villagepreaching God’s kingdomspreading the Message. The Twelve were with him. There were also some women in their company who had been healed of various evil afflictions and illnesses: Marythe one called Magdalenefrom whom seven demons had gone out; Joannawife of ChuzaHerod’s manager; and Susanna—along with many others who used their considerable means to provide for the company.

There were others like Susanna and Joannawho was married to Chuzaa steward of King Herod. And there were many others too. These women played an important role in Jesus’ ministry, using their wealth to provide for Him and His other companions.
