Devices Reset Touchpad Settings and Gestures to Default in Windows 11

This tutorial will show you how to reset touchpad settings and gestures to default for your account in Windows 11.

If your Windows 11 device (ex: laptop) has a built-in precision touchpadyou can reset all of its settings and gestures back to default on demand as needed.


Here's How:

1 Open Settings (Win+I).

2 Click/tap on Bluetooth & devices on the left sideand click/tap on Touchpad on the right side. (see screenshot below)

3 Click/tap on Touchpad to expand it open. (see screenshot below step 5)

4 Turn off Touchpad. (see screenshot below step 5)

5 Click/tap on the Reset button. (see screenshot below)

The Reset button will be grayed out while touchpad is turned on if there are no changes to the default touchpad settings.

6 Touchpad will now automatically get turned back on with all of its settings and gestures reset to default. (see screenshot below)

7 You can now close Settings if you like.
