Some suspicious behavior going on around the farm lately. Hopefully what is detailed in the article does not come to fruition.
.
This is a see something say something scenario for sure.
Sucks and is a sad thing. SMH...I will keep my eyes open for sure when driving by neighbors.
Be safe.
Yea that's pretty brazen and crazy. Is it really for meat though or do they just want one of their horses since they are so expensive. If they want meat they should hang around santa Anita. They just throw those poor horses in the garbage after...
Wow! The state and local police should be able to find this guy. I know we have a lot of pick up trucks in this area but I’m hoping they can narrow it down and get some suspects to interview. I’ll be happy when this dirtbag is in cuffs. I don’t know what the average horse costs but hopefully enough to make it worth the police departments time and enough to land this guy in jail.
This is going on big time in Fla. People are finding their horses dead nearby and butchered for their meat.
If they are in Jersey now it's a horriblebrutal crime ring.

These people steal horses and take them to horse auctions for money. This has been happening more and more. The horses don't actually go through the auction they are bought behind the scenes and sold for slaughter. If your horse is missing there is a website called Netposse which you post your horse is missing. This is a shady rotten thing that has been happening for many years. Giving your horse away also draws these fakes who will take it and turn around and sell it for slaughter.
For the risk it must be worth itespecially open they are about it. How much can illegal horse meat be worth? I know in a lot of European areas it's a common meat and I can't think of any religion that uses it for special dishes. I mean if there's a buck in it someone s going to do itI just can't see it but I do believe it.
