The reason I gave four stars out of five is because it cannot generate pictures very well and sometimes if you do get anything that’s generated from it. It has misspelled words or letters that are halfway there like it doesn’t know the alphabet. AlsoI can’t listen for certain noise even if you explain to it what it is and generate actual answers on what those sounds might be like if you have a ticking noise coming from a vehicleit won’t hear that. Certain little kinks like that is why I gave it four stars instead of five if they could update that and incorporate away for it to understand and search for things like thatit would be a five star app without a doubt. I am being highly critical thoughso other users might think that it’s a five star app. But just as of my critical opinionthat would be what was needed for me to say it’s a five star app. But for other thingsit is super useful. For theoretical concepts and understandingit goes far beyond anything else or any other kind of service I could think of. Like I think even the app itself knows of its own flaws and it’s kind of weird that it would know something like that. And if you was to compare it to something like SiriI would rate it 100 stars compared to series 5 or five stars compared to series one whichever way you wanna go about it. Either way it is much more useful. I just think it could be better.

I recreationally use Gemini for its image generation as I have found it to generally create accurate and well-made images based on my descriptions. It does a good job of incorporating any of my stated details into the imageand the fact that it is free is a major plus. There is a limit on how many images you can generate which is unfortunatebut I’m still able to create dozens of images per day. If they had a subscription option to enable unlimited images for a reasonable priceI would gladly pay for it.The AI chat feature is impressive toobut I find that ChatGPT is slightly more comprehensive in that regard. It’s still serviceable though and I hear it can be used in conjunction with certain other Google Appswhich is an interesting feature. OverallI am pleased with Google’s foray into the AI space and I see a lot of potential for this program. In the time I’ve used itthe image generation has improvedso I can only imagine the further improvements they will make in the years to come.
