For existing primary WestJet RBC Mastercard cardholders prior to November 52025the minimal annual spend will be tracked following the issuance of the annual Credit Card companion voucher on or after November 52025 for the subsequent voucher earn year.
For new WestJet RBC Mastercard cardholdersthe minimal annual spend will be tracked following the issuance of the welcome Credit Card companion voucher on or after November 52025 for the subsequent voucher earn year.
The $2,500 minimum annual spend qualification is all net purchases on the card - less credits and refundsand excluding cash advancescash-like transactionsinterest chargesfeescredit or debit. If the $2,500 minimum annual spend is met in a given voucher earn yearthe annual Credit Card companion voucher will be awarded 4-6 weeks after your WestJet RBC Mastercard annual fee for that year is charged.
Yesyou can still use your Credit Card companion voucher as you do today. Howeverthere are now more ways to exchange your companion voucher if desiredincluding exchanging for a 25% discount on a base airfare for one traveler or 5,000 WestJet points.
You can exchange your companion voucher by logging into your WestJet Rewards account on your desktop or mobile app. Select an option and hit submit for an immediate exchange.

Yes. Starting November 52025you can earn 0.5 additional WestJet points per $1 spent on Sunwing Vacations packageswhich is a total of 1.5 WestJet points per $1 spent.
Nothing. The new Mobile Device insurance will automatically be applied to your WestJet RBC Mastercard as of November 52025. The coverage will apply to claims incurred on or after November 52025. All claims are subject to the termsconditionslimitations and exclusions set out in the Certificates of Insurance. For there to be coveragethe mobile device must have been purchased with your WestJet RBC Mastercard card and/or WestJet points. If only a partial payment is made using WestJet pointsthe entire balance must be paid using your WestJet RBC Mastercard card for there to be coverage.
